Elementary > Curriculum
 
Southminster's accelerated elementary curriculum utilizes Spalding Phonics, EXCEL Math, and the Accelerated Reader Program. Enrichment and resource opportunities are provided to meet the strengths and weaknesses of each student. As a result, our elementary students score in the top 10% on national standardized tests.  Spanish, Music, Physical Education, Computer, Library and Science Discovery Center are also part of the weekly curriculum for  our students.  Chapel,Christian Education and community service projects provide ways for the children to learn about Christ's love and teachings while developing  their own personal relationship with Him.
