Requirements For Admission
An official application must be completed and submitted with the $150 non-refundable registration fee. The registration fee must be in cash or money order. No personal checks or credit cards accepted. In order for the application to be complete parents must also submit copies of the original birth certificate, Social Security card, updated immunization record, Physician's Statement, and Health Assessment Form. Transcripts (Elementary Students Only)
Copies of the student’s previous year’s report card, school transcripts, and most recent standardized testing must be submitted.
Placement Test - Pre-K, Bridge, Kindergarten, First Grade - Sixth Grade (New Students Only)
Applicants will be tested by appointment after formal application has been made. The $75 non-refundable testing fee is due on the date of testing.
Tours and Classroom Visit
Touring the facility and observing classes is highly encouraged. Tours are available by appointment. Please contact Angela Holden at aholden@southminsterschool.org for Elementary tours and Karen Rombach at krombach@southminsterschool.org for Preschool tours.
Application Period
Elementary Open Registration
Prospective students may submit applications beginning mid-January. Check school calendar for specific date.
Preschool Open Registration
Prospective students may submit applications beginning early February. Check school calendar for specific date.
Notification of Status
Notification of class placement will be sent in writing. A family contract will accompany the placement letter, which will list all information needed to secure the student’s placement.
