We have been extremely pleased with Southminster School. We have found the staff to be welcoming to us and our child. When visiting the school, we have noticed that many of the staff, not just our son's teacher, know our child and are genuinely concerned about his development and well-being. This has helped to make our child feel more secure in the school environment, which was an area of concern for us.

We are also impressed with the school's commitment to academics and classroom behavior. We feel strongly that the best classroom is one in which discipline and order are stressed and maintained. At Southminster, even in Kindergarten, there are clear and well-communicated expectations of the children relating both to behavior and class-room assignments.

When we moved to Sugar Land, we wanted to find a school that offered an intimate classroom setting, an academically advanced curriculum, a Christian environment and enhanced programs like Spanish, music and computer education. We knew Southminster School was the right choice after the first visit we had. Our son LOVES to go to school. He loves his friends, the teachers, the staff and the environment he's in. Southminster School is a happy place to be. We are constantly amazed at the level of learning he is experiencing. We know we made the right decision. We have been so impressed with this school and its leaders that we even joined Southminster Presbyterian Church.
